Granny’s Frosted Brownies


1/2 cup butter

1 cup sugar

4 eggs

16 oz. Granny’s chocolate syrup

1 cup flour

1/2 cup nuts, chopped


Preheat oven to 350° F.    Butter, 11×16 baking dish.   Cream together butter, sugar; beat in eggs.   Blend in chocolate syrup.   Stir in flour and nuts.   Bake in prepare pan for 25 minutes or until done.


Chocolate Butter Frosting:

1 1/3 cup sugar

6 Tbsp milk

6 Tbsp butter

1 cup chocolate chips


Over medium heat combine sugar, milk and butter; boil 1 minutes only.   Add chocolate chips stir until melted, cool then frost brownies.   Cut into 24 brownies.
