Chocolate Dipped Coconut Macaroon

Chocolate Dipped Coconut Macaroon

3/4 heaping cup sugar
scant 1/2 cup egg white, from 3 eggs
Scant 2 1/2 cups sweetened flaked coconut
4 oz chocolate chips, melted

Preheat oven to 350° F. Butter baking sheet. Mix together sugar, egg whites and coconut. Drop by teaspoon onto prepared baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, until lightly golden. Let cool completely on baking sheet. Then dip in melted chocolate and place back on baking sheet.
