Granny’s Scalloped Potatoes

Granny’s Scalloped Potatoes

3 Tbsp. Butter
2 Tbsp. flour

3 cups milk
1 tsp. salt
¼ Tsp. pepper
6 medium potatoes, sliced thinly
2 Tbsp. chopped onions
chopped ham or cooked bacon crumbled
Cheese, grated

Put ½ potatoes in to a 9×12 baking dish. Sprinkle with ½ flour, salt and pepper, dot with butter. Repeat with next layer and add milk until it is half way up the dish, add onion, chopped ham and top with cheese. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F. Uncover and brown.   Serves 4 to 6
