Granny’s Apple Peanut Butter Crisp

½ cup flour
½ cup rolled oats, quick cooking
½ cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp cinnamon
Dash nutmeg
½ tsp salt
3 Tbsp Peanut Butter
3 Tbsp butter or margarine
5 or 6 cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced

In a small bowl, mix together flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt; stir in butters until crumbly. Set aside.

Grease 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place apples in prepared baking dish. Sprinkle topping evenly over apples. Bake 45 to 60 minutes, or until apples are tender and topping is lightly browned.
