Granny’s French Fries

Granny’s French Fries

5 potatoes, peeled and cut into strips
hot oil or butter for frying
1 ½ tsp. salt
dash of pepper

Heat oil in deep fryer or butter in skillet. Drop prepared potatoes into fat and fry until crispy golden brown. Remove to paper towel to drain, season with salt and pepper.

Variation: Dip in Apple Cider Vinegar, place on paper towel to dry some then deep fry….oh so good.
