Roast Pork Steaks

Roast Pork Steaks 

2 pork steaks
1 medium onion
4 or 5 medium red potatoes
2 large carrots
Meat seasoning, see below

Place each steak side by side in the bottom of roasting pan. Brown pork steaks on both sides in roasting pan. Add just enough water to cover bottom of roasting pan. Rub meat seasoning on each pork steak, top with slice onion. Scrub clean and cut off ends of red potatoes and put along side steaks. Peel and chop carrots and place on top of steaks. Roast at 325 degrees F. for 3 hours.

Homemade Meat Seasoning:
1 cup Oregano
1 cups Basil
½ cup Marjoram
½ cup dill weed
½ cup mint leaf
½ cup onion flakes or powder
2 Tbsp dry mustard
2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp pepper

Mix and keep in air tight container and use on meat as a rub…for pork, beef, lamb….oh so delicious!
