Bacon Lettuce and Tomato Dip

Bacon Lettuce and Tomato Dip

1 1/2 pounds bacon

16 oz.  cream cheese, room temperature
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded) or to taste
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (or to taste)
1 Tbsp. mustard

salt and pepper to taste
2 cups tomatoes, chopped
1  1/2 cup Iceberg lettuce, chopped
Toasted bread rounds, crackers, or pita chips.


Fry bacon until crispy, remove from heat to a paper towel.   Chop or crumble into bite size pieces.  Let cool.   Set aside ¾ cup.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.   Grease a 9×9 baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine remaining bacon, cream cheese, shredded cheeses, sour cream, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, mustard, salt and pepper.


Spoon mixture into prepared baking dish. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.


Remove from oven and sprinkle chopped tomatoes, remaining 3/4 cup crumbled bacon, and Iceberg lettuce over hot dip.   Serve immediately with toasted bread rounds, crackers, or pita chips.
