Granny’s Berry Smoothie

 

1 medium banana

1/2 cup blueberries

1/2 cup raspberries

1/2 cup blackberries

1/2 cup boysenberries

1/2 cup grape juice

1/2 cup cranberry or orange juice

1 handful crushed ice

2 Tbsps. canola oil

 

In blender, add banana, berries, juices, crushed ice and canola oil.    Blend until combined. Serve immediately.

 

Smoothies are a great way to receive your fruit, fiber and good fats. This shake is loaded with antioxidants.    Adding a little canola oil gives it omega-3 fats and vitamin E as well as a smoother taste.    A wonderful blend of flavors.

 

Variation: any mixed berries will do here or juice.   Make your own family favorite today…enjoy!
