Granny’s Cole Slaw

Granny’s Cole Slaw

½ head cabbage, shredded
1 carrot, grated
½ onion, chopped
½ cup mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
salt and pepper

Combine cabbage (green and red cabbage if desired), carrot and onion and set aside. In small bowl, stir together mayo, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Add dressing to cabbage mixture. Chill and serve.


For a sweeter taste add 1 tsp sugar to the dressing.

Use 1 shallot, chopped in place of a 1/2 onion, chopped.
