Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball 

8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
3/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
2 Tbsps. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans, optional

In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in confectioners’ sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in mini chocolate chips. Cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.


Shape cream cheese mixture into a ball. Roll in chopped pecans if using, cover in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.


Serve with fruit, vanilla wafers or your favorite cracker or cookie.

You can coat this with peanut butter chips or other flavored chips

Roll in chopped walnuts or your favorite nuts or not…this is optional

Roll in Cheerios or your favorite cereal
