Granny’s Bean and Ham Soup

Granny’s Bean and Ham Soup

1 lb beans of choice
1 cup ketchup
1 Tbsp mustard
stewed tomatoes, optional
1 cup celery, chopped
1 ham bone
2 cups ham, chopped
salt and pepper
1 large onion, chopped

Soak beans over night in bowl with water 2 inches above beans, cover with towel. Next day rinse beans. Cover beans in pot with water. Bring to boil for several minutes. Reduce heat to simmer and add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 3 hours. Serve
