Granny’s Biscuits

Granny’s Biscuits

2 cups sifted flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
¾ cup milk, (add ¼ cup for drop biscuits)
1/3 cup shortening

Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Add milk until dough forms. Knead and roll out dough and cut biscuits (or drop by heaping spoonful) onto greased baking sheet; bake at 375 degrees F. for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
