Old Fashioned Biscuit Pudding

5 left over biscuits
2 cups milk, divided
1 cup sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
2 Tbsp butter

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Crumble biscuits in 8×8 baking dish. Pour one cup milk over biscuits; let sit until biscuits are soft.

Mix in sugar and cinnamon. Add 1 egg at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Mix together last cup milk and vanilla; add to biscuits, mix well. Dot with butter.

Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until top golden and firm. Set aside to cool a bit. Top with Glaze, see recipe below..

Glaze:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 Tbsp heavy cream
1/4 tsp vanilla
pinch cinnamon
dash salt

Blend and drizzle over top of the biscuit pudding.

Variations:
Add 1 cup raisins
Add 1 cup chopped apples
Add 1 cup chopped peaches
Add 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Double recipe and bake in 9×13 baking dish
