Sierra Turkish Delight

2 cups fruit sauce apricot, grape or apple, see below
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
1 ½ cups powdered sugar
1 tsp cornstarch
3 tsp lemon juice.

To make sauce cut up and cook fruit until tender; push thru coarse strainer.

Add granulated sugar, cornstarch mixed in with lemon juice and cook until stiff.

Cool and pour into well powdered sugar coated board. Allow to become firm. Cut into squares and coat over with powdered sugar. Makes about 48 pieces.
