Homemade Taffy

Homemade Taffy

2 cups honey or syrup
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup water
tsp salt

Boil water, syrup or honey, and sugar to hard ball stage (288 degrees). Remove from heat add flavoring…cherry, peppermint, grape, lemon, almond or your favorite extracts.

Put in buttered pans and cool enough to handle, then pull.

Cut and wrap.
