Granny’s Creamy Lemon Pie


1 baked pie crust

3 egg yolks

14 oz. sweetened condensed milk

½ cup lemon juice

cool whip

Lemon zest, optional


Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.   Beat egg yolks in bowl with fork, gradually beat in milk and lemon juice.   Pour into crust.   Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until set.   Remove from oven.   Cool 3 hours.   Spread cool whip over pie and garnish with lemon zest.
