Granny’s Nacho Cheese Sauce

Granny’s Nacho Cheese Sauce

2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp flour
1 1/2 cups milk, room temperature
1 cup Sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded, 4 oz.
1/2 cup Pepper Jack cheese, shredded, 2 oz.
¼ tsp salt

Over medium low heat, in medium saucepan melt butter; stir in flour, one Tbsp at a time stirring until smooth after each addition. Add milk; stir until mixture thickens.

Add cheeses and salt, stirring constantly; Reduce heat to Low, simmer until cheese is melted, about 10 to 15 minutes, or until your desired thickness.
